Clio integration

Move from answered call to legal intake record with less retyping.

VoiceOrbit is designing a Clio workflow for law firms that want qualified phone intake to reach the system their team already uses.

Reviewed and updated July 26, 2026 by the VoiceOrbit product team.

Short answer

The direct Clio integration is planned and is not generally available yet. Today, VoiceOrbit can capture structured call and intake records in its portal. Firms interested in Clio Grow should request design-partner access so field mapping, ownership, consent, and duplicate handling match their workflow.

Intended workflow

After a qualified call, VoiceOrbit should create or update the appropriate contact and intake record, attach a concise summary, preserve the original VoiceOrbit call link, and assign a follow-up owner or task.

Controls that matter

A useful legal CRM integration needs more than a create-contact button.

  • Firm-controlled field mapping and required fields
  • Duplicate detection and safe retry behavior
  • Practice-area and office routing
  • Consent and lead-source capture
  • Visible sync status, errors, and audit trail

Design-partner access

The fastest path to a reliable integration is to validate it against real intake operations. If your firm uses Clio Grow, describe the records, stages, custom fields, and ownership rules you want automated.

Help shape the Clio workflow

We’ll review your current intake handoff and use it to prioritize field mapping, sync events, and error handling.

Common questions

What law firms ask before launch

Is the Clio integration live?

Not as a generally available self-serve integration. This page describes the intended workflow and invites law firms to help validate it; it does not claim an active Clio Marketplace listing.

What should sync to Clio Grow?

The intended minimum is contact information, matter or practice-area classification, intake answers, source and consent fields, urgency or deadline flags, call summary, and an owner or follow-up task.

Will VoiceOrbit overwrite existing contacts?

The integration should search and match before creating a record, surface ambiguous duplicates, and use configurable field mappings. Final behavior will be validated with design partners.
